Founder Institute Luanda's Startup Acceleration Program aims to help build 20 promising technology-based companies with social impact.
The application process for the Startup Acceleration Program is over!
It took 3 months of intense work not only addressed to the local entrepreneurship ecosystem, but also to the Startup Ecosystem in Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOPs).
In the Founder Institute's application platform we received a total of 545 applications. 103 applications were approved. More than 40% of the approved applications came from entrepreneurs living in countries like Cape Verde, Guinea Bissau and São Tomei.
After finalizing the admission process, the "Virtual Angola 2021" cohort closes with 20 entrepreneurs, of which 5 female founders.
The acceleration program begins April 27, 2021, the enrolled Founders seek to build solutions in the sectors of agriculture, blockchain, education, energy&sustainability, logistics, manufacturing, e-commerce platforms and health. Over the next 3 months they will have the opportunity to:
In an effort to ensure the health and safety of mentors, partners and program participants, this cohort of Founder Institute Luanda will be conducted completely online, allowing Founders to build their business from the comfort of their home.
